ello everyone, I'm looking for advice on how to startup, coordinate, run a successful meet up group in a small marketplace called Shelby, Nc. The town is about an hour outside of Charlotte, Nc. My wife and I are local investors looking to expand and share our knowledge about the local market. While simultaneously networking and building relationships. My wife Kelly loves rehabbing and I'm furthering my comperhension in apartment syndication. We're looking for ways to advance ourselves in our respective fields. While we know it's going to be a challenge (as everything in life worth having is) to start this new path in our journey we are really excited for the challenges ahead. So if there is any advice or feedback that would be greatly appreciated. This group is for people to learn the business, give input, share their experiences, and encourage people to be better than they were yesterday. Looking to start this group in the beginning of the new year the location TBD I will give more information later this week.
@Henri Meli Awsome job man! I like the determination factor and creativity to understand that multi family isnt the nitch you wanted. So you found another nitch in the same realm.

@Ivan Barratt thank you, I do appreciate your input and would love to discuss a little more with you if you have the time. To find someone in our local market that has the qualities that you are talking about.

So what's the solution to this because I dont believe fixing and flipping is the same thing nor wholesaling a 12 unit complex the same. The only issue for my is I dont know who to turn to in order to get creditable information. I'm in the Charlotte NC area and would love to offer my service in order to gain knowledge in the field.

I'm looking to learn this business. I order the book financial freedom by Michael Blank and Best ever apartment syndication book by Joe Fairless. Along with several podcast by both of them. I'm wanting to know if these books and podcast really get you prepared for the journey that I will take or maybe talking with someone that's in the trenches doing this everyday.
