@Ryan E. - Happened to stumble onto this thread, any updates on how the market is in Vernal.. especially with covid? I also have the same question as @Justin Hammond, how easy/difficult is it to find a renter? I would hate to buy out there and have my property vacant for multiple months. What kind of leases are you offering being that it's in a remote area... 12/6/M2M? Justin, did you happen to buy out there since this post? Thanks guys!

Hi Carlin - I have had a single townhouse rental in Salt Lake (Herriman) for 4 years now. I have been actively searching for my second and third in the valley for over a year now and cannot find anything that makes sense. Utah's market is crazy!! Have been looking as far south as Spanish Fork. I have also just started looking into the Midwest and it's looking much more promising. The house hack would be your best bet for Utah. Good luck!!

@Donald E Appleberry, Will this possibly have a virtual option? I am currently deployed and would love to join if so. Thanks!

Hello Fello BP'ers - I have a property I may be interested in near Price in Huntington, UT. However, I am currently deployed overseas and am unable to do a walk-through. I was wondering if there are any contractors in the area (or willing to travel from Salt Lake) that would be willing to walk the property for me to see what it would need as far as the rehab, I would pay of course. It will need a full gut rehab. A soldier would greatly appreciate it!! I have cash for the property so I could move pretty fast. I can send over pic's prior. Let me know, thank you!

@Greg Jenkins - Nice, just got here last weekend, so I have a ways to go. But I use my time to further educate myself so I'm ready. I have 2 VA loans, one on a rental and one on my primary. Hit me up if you ever have any questions.

@Allen - I haven't gone with anyone yet. I found out recently that I'm getting an all expenses paid trip to the Middle-East courtesy of the Army this spring. So I will wait until I get back to make any moves. I am leaning towards Mountain America CU, though.
