Wow!  You're capitalizing on your most valuable asset:  time!  You are truly an inspiration.  After swinging for the fences and striking out, you've learned to adjust your swing to make contact and get on base!  I'll take 50 base hits over a few home runs any day!

Thank you BP! I need to replace the carpet in one of my rentals and I'm definitely going to look into Allure. Any suggestions for stairs? Should I just recarpet the stairs and upstairs?

I'm retiring from the Army in a few months. I'm currently in Korea but will be in the WA area by Nov. I wish I could go back 10 years when Bigger Pockets just got started and learn as much about real estate investing then. I would have had, realistically, about five rental properties with decent cash flow. Oh well...better later (not late) than never. I'm glad to see a fellow service-member is able to "see the light" and start taking control of his future, too.
