@Richard Munford Welcome aboard! I would ditto Sean's advice, join or attend the UVREIA meetings (find them on www.meetup.com or just google). I have 2 SFR in Provo/Orem and live in Orem. I will be purchasing 10 more in the next 10 years in this same area. The numbers in this area can be tough and do take some work, but are very doable. The only thing that keeps me buying in this area is a GREAT property management company. Let me know if you need help in picking one. I'm on the slow boat to riches with buy and holds (cause I love my day job and have little time to put into RE), but willing to meet anytime you need someone to bounce things off of. Dan Matheney

Hi, I'm Dan from Provo / Orem UT. I own 2 single family homes (+$330 & $350 cash flow) and am attempting to purchase more (my modest goal is 10-15 in the next 10 years). Retirement will be in 10-15 years. One of my biggest problems is I love my job (which limits my time to engage in RE). Being self employed, I do make good money, have a fairly flexible schedule, but need additional retirement income. I would love to meet other investors in the Provo, Utah market and see if we can help each other. Perhaps I could trade my physical labor for time discussing how you do deals in this area???
