thanks yes I do want them out because if they weren't paying the mortage there not going to pay me in New York it takes a long time to foreclosure.Someone suggested I write a letter to them.  Then I should knock on there door and make them a deal with giving them money to get out .Am just not sure how to go about it.

In any case, you would have to evict this person if you do wish them out.  Do you want them out or would you keep them on as a tenant to get rental income?  Eviction isn't always the answer and sometimes you have to think of different ways to go about solving a challenge like this.

I am new to this but I am going to buy a house at a auction the promblem is they are still living there.Somebody told me I should right a letter to the home owner than go knock on there door .How should I write this letter?

Some counties will list their upcoming auctions and opening bids.  Otherwise, you'll have to do a search in your county to see if any 3rd party providers offer this info, though typcically charge a description fee.  

And no, you cannot buy the property from the bank prior to the auction as they do not have title to the property yet, only the note.

when a house is listed in the local newspaper for auction how could I find out how much is the opening bid ?iIs there a way I could find out before it's listed for auction to buy it from a bank?
