I used to and I think it's a potential huge mistake, that is if you plan on staying in your job and advancing; at least someone will get jealous and think you won't deserve advancing because you own assets that no one else does and they will tell more. Remember the quote - "they want to see you do good but never better than them - remember that"

I would just stick to BP, RE meet ups etc. for connections and keep your job completely separate and NOT appear to be smarter than everyone else. It's tempting to show how clever you are but from my experience this isn't wise in a job - just read 48 Laws Of Power - one of the laws "Never outshine the master".

IMO just show you are smart with investors who actually want to see you have a brain and have the ability to help you reach your goals.

Only buy Bitcoin at an amount you are willing to lose because at the end of the day it is gambling, not investing. Stick to Real Estate!

Lots of great answers here from people far more experienced than myself. My answer would be:

Leverage - in the form of financial and people power (Using sites like upwork/virtual assistants especially to reduce costs). I've never met someone who is rich who doesn't use financial leverage and/or have a team

Having your own business, especially online over brick & mortar as the former can make you money 24/7, have reach globally and allows for passivity faster which you can move onto making even more with the business or focusing elsewhere

For Real Estate - Commercial

They had better be the BEST at what they do, almost bar none, for $18,000 for 2 months!

@Account Closed Great job with the motivation mate. I think it would serve you to drill down on something specifically. All those are useful, but very broad and you don't need to know everything! You'll 'chase two rabbits and catch none', as they say! As I recommended E Commerce to you based on your goals here's all you need to do:

A) Spend less than you earn and create a budget
B) Follow this https://www.junglescout.com/how-to-sell-on-amazon-...
C) Find mentors and like minded people in this space
D) Take Action

@Justin Young So true! Removing and adding people to that circle!

@Terry Lao Yes, it's certainly easier to make the right moves when you are younger than older! Thanks for sharing

@Cody Evans Lol yeah - if they read the Millionaire Next Door they'd realise that a athlete and a real estate investor are not related. People are one book away from changing their life
