Hi BP, First off, I can't believe it's been 15 years since the 9/11. Thinking of those... Secondly, I'm a rookie investor looking for my first fix and flip property in the Cincinnati and surrounding markets. While I continue to look for a profitable property and knowing that I will need to use private lending should I be shopping around now to build a relationship with a lender. If so

Thanks for the advice Ben W. I've reached out to Sean and other local wholesalers to see what they have. I'm fortunate to come from family with a long history of self-employed contractors. My earliest memory's started with hanging drywall and handing mud pans to my dad on stilts. We have assembled a great team that just lacks field experience in real estate.

I agree and trust your opinion. I see you know the area and have great taste in college football. Do you have any listings or suggested area for a first flip? I would love to connect, and give you our backstory. Go Bucks!

First discussion I've started on BP.   Yay, but let me be honest; I've recently dedicated my latest career adventures to real estate so there have been a lot of "firsts" for me lately.  Still doing the corporate America gig too, which I love.

Just formed a partnership company with another couple focusing on fix and flips in the northern Cincinnati, Ohio area.  We're doing a ton of research and completing the logistics around forming the business, but ran across a situation where the managing member are slightly up in the air about.

Website to brand our business.  How important is it, or is it needed? What is the focus of the site? Any good examples out there?

Secondly, the LLC name that we chose is "Surname" & "Surname" Properties L.L.C. Both of partners surnames start with "S" so we like the idea of a simple logo that has to do with S&S ( i know cliche), but I'm wondering about registering an URL for the site. One party likes ss_properties.com another likes simonscalfaro.com. The first is easy to remember the second is more intimate and brand to LLC.. Looking for the pro's opinions. Any "man, I wish I did it this way from the start" on this topic?

I know this is the not a top concern of getting into the real estate business, but there are not that many topics on it either.  Thought I would ask.

Happy Holiday Weekend.
