the good thing about the portland market is it seem you can get away from the high prices in 30-45 minutes in about every direction! 

The Portland market is very competitive! The good thing is that you can still find deals within 20 minutes of Portland pretty easy. Good luck with whatever town you choose. 

Lake Oswego is the wealthiest city in Oregon! I would think looking at other suburbs of Portland would be a little more reasonable.

Hello BP,

My name is Daniel I'm 33, have a great wife and young son! I live just south of Portland near Milwaukie. I have lived in this area my whole life and this is where I hope to invest! 

My goal is to do a couple of flips to gain some capitol to invest in 3-4 plex.

As part of the hunt for the first deal I'm concentrating on looking for homes with terrible yards. My family owns a tree maintnece company and I have skilled labor that will help me if I BBQ. I also have contractors that we work with that I have a lot of trust in! 

I'm so glad I found BP and can't get enough of the podcasts!!!
