You can put my airbnb for passive income? Like wym?

and now that i look back ithink iknow what might have flagged me and eventually banning me from the platform.

iwas on my way to Chicago and ihave heard about airbnb at that time but never cared to use it as inever really went anywhere besides that one time iwas going to an event.

i then made an account last minute (an hr before arriving to Chicago) and started making a reservation. Not knowing that they still needed to approve my stay, ithought it worked like any other hotel booking site. So me being new to that platform, ididnt know if the reservation got approved or not so ikept booking again and again and again on different room rentals cause iwas in need of having somewhere to stay last minute (iwas a huge procrastinator).

So ithen received an email sayin that my stay wasnt approved and then minutes later ireceived Another one say that they were banning me. So im assuming it was because of that.

Ithen just got a hotel room and jus got frustrated with arbnb and just didnt care to give them a call to fix it.

but now that iwant to host iwant to figure out a solution and well so far igot a new account as someone that commented on my forum said to just make a new one and just be cautious and not get banned again.

so yea theres my long *** story lol

Thank you nicole for that!! Ididnt know there was other site. Ijust made a new account with new email and number so im hoping idont get banned again. But iwill definitely give them a call

Lol thanks man ididnt know that that was even an option. But definitely going to set this one up. The funny thing about it is that inever even stayed under any airbnb under my account for them to try to kick me out. So idk what that was all about? But ima try to make a new account and hopefully that works

@Daniel Kevin Lara having another host would work, but I would look further into why you’ve been banned. I’ve had great experience with airbnb customer support and they should be able to provide an explanation for you. You could also try setting up a new account under a different email and phone number…I’d look into these options before paying out part of your revenue to someone else for just using their hosting account.

Thank you bro. I will definitely look into reaching out to them again. If not, i will definitely go for a new account and phone number. Hopefully that works. Appreciate the advice 🙏🏽

Ok so to everyone that has experience in this side of the field, igot a couple questions hoping that yall can guide me with some good advice. 👍

So igot banned from airbnb like 3 years ago, not exactly sure why and i remember it was my very 1st booking as well, and haven't had any luck finding a way to get a hold of them to fix it.

anyway! Fast forward to today! I am now getting my first home and iwant to airbnb the bottom half of the home and fix it up nice to attract high quality travelers. So that being said, can ipartner up with someone who can sign up on airbnb as a host to rent my bottom portion of the home?

Like iwill do all the handling from cleaning, answering to guests, bookings etc and I'll just pay my partner a percentage for letting me leverage her hosting power To run my airbnb business?

please help, would really appreciate all the advice and tips that ican get from all you experienced airbnb investors! 🙌🏽

For a rough estimate of furnishings/supplies for a bottom unit, I’d say around 3k-5k depending on if you use FB marketplace or American furniture. That would include all kitchen supplies and linens, cleaning supplies. Beds and couches are the most expensive, and I’d get a new sleeper couch to allow for more guests. I added a kitchen to my bottom unit for about 4.5k using cheaper labor and marketplace.

just pretty much would like to know where everyone goes to to check out rates when renting by the room?

i am going to househack my 1st property so iwant to get a head start by analyzing properties that i am interested in.

my goal is to airbnb (STR) the bottom half of the home to hopefully produce faster and higher income by making it look nice.

and the i will be renting out one upstairs room while istay in the other one.

I am currently using rentometer but its just giving me the monthly rent for the whole unit so iwonder if theres another site for just rates by the room?

TIA🙌🏽
