Hi @Jordan Lewis and welcome to BP. As far as funding a purchase in an online auction, you can look into hard money or private money. This would allow you to purchase the property and not deplete all your cash. Just be careful, hard money is expensive so do your research and see if it will work for you. Generally speaking though hard money isn't something I would recommend for a live in flip. If you can fix the place up and sell it quickly maybe it'll work.

Hi @Curt S. and welcome. You are definitely starting out on the right foot by reading books and listening to the podcasts. You will learn a ton just from that. Like others have mentioned ask questions on the forums, read blog and forum posts that interest you, and soak it all in. Everyone is really helpful and willing to share their knowledge. Also don't be afraid to meet people for a cup of coffee there is nothing like connecting face to face with someone in your local area.

@Patrice Penda Have you tried General Plumbing Supply, they have a big variety of items in store and a showroom at many locations. There is actually one not too far from Hoboken/JC in Bayonne. It is straight south on Kennedy Blvd.  Hope this helps. 

@Neal Collins all that information in the app is made available through your company? I am going to assume you need corporate credentials to log in and use it? 

Also is there any way to find out if properties are owned free and clear? I tried using this website, it shows tax history and on random properties who has owned it and when it last sold, but it is hit and miss.
