Just a tour with my agent. I’ve never walked one before. Just trying to see what I should keep an eye out for.

I use a broker for Hard Money named Michael Schostak from Moneyboots Capital moneyboots.com. He's been great at connecting me with the best lenders for each deal. Tell him I sent you.

Thanks! I know the parcel number. Do you know what the tax assessors website is for Detroit? I was googling but I couldn't find where to put in the parcel number.

Hi BP,

I am extremely excited to be apart of this community! The podcast, articles, and tools are amazing! I was hesitant to post but have recently been encouraged by a fellow investor.

I am a new investor in the Detroit area looking to do flips, Brrrr and househack. I have closed on my first flip and the rehab will begin this week. I am working on closing on my first househack. A little hesitant on this one, moving my wife and new teenage foster daughter to Detroit but I think it could be life changing. How soon can you move after a househack with a conventional loan?

Please let me know if you have any advice or want to connect. Looking forward to learning and growing with all of you.

Hi @Dan Weber, Thanks for the quick response and suggestions. I spoke to Hard Money Lender today but they are unwilling to lend the money on a conventional mortgage. I already got a HELOC on the house and a portion of that will be going into a different BRRRR property. I will use the rest on a portion of the rehab. I'll need to look into the retirement plan. Thanks for the options!
