@Russell Brazil I am not 100% sold on PG. I do not know if I want to live in the area for the 2 years required with a 203K loan. I will do some more research and see what kind of deals are out there. Maybe something to hit once I build so more capital to build my portfolio.

Hi Russell,

Thank you for the advice. I am planning to hire a contractor for major areas of repair using the 203K loan. (Kitcken, bathroom, roof, other major work) I would not include things such as painting, floors, smaller bathrooms etc. I would assume that the major work could be completed in those 6 months and leave me to do other upgrades once livable. Does that seem feasible?

Russell. Yes I currently own a home in Crofton. I am actively searching for a live in flip within the surrounding area. I am hoping in AA county. I would need to stay within 30 miles of greenbelt, MD to maintain a decent commute to my full time job.

I am looking to purchase a live in flip within the next 6 months. I plan to use a 203K loan. Any tips or things I should know before I get started?
