@Misha Krul

With 14th, my advice is do not go west of Charles blvd and try not to go too far East of Elm. If you're close to Elm, you're good, this wouldn't be considered a war zone. We have a rental on Evans that does very well and some apartments in a lower income area. My partner and I invest primarily in gville and we love it, but the past two years it's been very difficult to invest just off MLS, you have to create deals as Brandon Turner would say. If you focus on staying close to the "grid", you'll have no problem finding tenants.

@Andra Ismael

Mostly what everyone else in Greenville is after :)

My partner and I have a small portfolio of SFRs, multifam, and a commercial building. We look for cashflow in safe neighborhoods with good to great schools. Of course anything near campus is a huge plus but that’s harder and harder to get these days.

My partner and I are looking for a wholesaler we can develop a relationship with in eastern North Carolina, preferably in the Greenville, NC area. We own several properties in Greenville, but as you can imagine deals are getting harder and harder to find. Looking for someone that does a descent amount of volume so they won’t be looking to make a crazy spread on each wholesale. If you know of anyone please message me. Also looking for a good REIA in the Greenville area if anyone knows of one. Thanks!

My partner and I recently landed 10 town homes under contract, all 1000 sqft, 2BR, 1.5 bath. Our standard SFR inspector quoted us at $2,500 to inspect all 10 units. I know another investor in a different region of NC that have paid half that for 12 apartments, so I feel like this quote is really high. Anyone know a good multi-fam inspector in or around the Greenville, NC area?

Does anyone have advice on how to find a good real estate CPA? I’m in the heart of NC if you know someone personally in the area. I formed a LLC with my partner last year and we have a few units now so when it comes to filling my taxes I don’t think H&R Block is going to cut it this year. Thanks! Dan

Hello BP community! My name is Dan Bryant, I’m 30 years old and by day I work in IT. I’m no stranger to the BP podcasts but I’ve decided it’s time to get involved in the forums. I’m an investor in the heart of North Carolina. Currently living in Hillsborough, NC and I have a few buy and hold properties in eastern NC. The Burlington, Greensboro, and Mebane markets are my primary focus at the moment and I’d eventually like to get into some fix and flips but for now my strategy is buy and hold for single family and small multi family. I’m also a new member of the Triad REIA and I’d love to connect with anyone in the local markets. See you around!
