Hi Greg, thanks for your reply.

I'm currently listening to BP's podcast #3. They are talking about taking risks and how conservative you are. I'm single, I'm young, I have no kids, and I have a full-time job that pays me pretty decent.

I think at this point in my life it's a safe time to be a little less conservative and take more risks.

Bryan, yes I understand.  I think I was premature in asking that question.

I am trying to start out with little more than just what equity I can pull out of my house. I have talked to a few other investors and their opinions were for me to start with buy and flip so that I can earn enough cash in order to buy GOOD cash flow properties that I can buy and rent.

Does that make sense to you Bryan?

My goal is to be a millionaire, billionaire of I have enough days in my life left!  I know it's a big goal,  but I have the drive to get me there!

Bill, I really do appreciate your input. I think that is a great way for me to build up some some needed cash flow!

I want to know what people think is better to start with as a beginner. Is it better to buy and hold or buy and flip? I like the idea of getting cash so I can put it into other Investments, however I think Equity will be important in the future as well.

Thank you Marlon. What do you do?

@Keith Boley great read! Encouraging to know there is support.  It's a big deal to get started and a mentor is key to really dig in.

Thanks Elizabeth and Paul for the welcome. Paul I appreciate that info.

I am very excited to have found BP, it's members seem to be very involved and active in the real estate investment business. I looked through the podcasts and can't wait to get to them.

Thanks again for the welcome.

Dan

Right now I'm focusing on learning about single family homes to buy and hold as well as buy and flip. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. I hope I can learn some valuable information from other inverters that have much more experience.
