Awesome idea Chris! I've been thinking along the same lines for something in Hood River area. There are a few commercial lots that would work, a few that are currently mobile Home/RV parks that I'm keeping my eye on. I'm super familiar with the STR rules in HR as I worked for a STR management company there and ran my own AirBnb until the City put it out of business. In my experience, the biggest challenge with STR's is getting year round bookings in all of these seasonal locations. Marketing to wedding groups, even having a reception area on your property could help elongate the season. If you want to chat more send me a message!

Hey all, anyone ever used this software? I’m on some mailing list somewhere and they keep emailing and calling me about it. Sounds kind of scammy but also sort of interesting?

Thanks for the intro Jeffrey! Nice to see a fellow Portland investor in the forums. I’m looking to do my first flip this summer so I might hit you up for advice!

Hi all, I’ve been watching a house in my local area that was in Fannie Mae HomePath site for over a month. It went pending and now I see that a sheriffs deed was filed last week with the buyer as Fannie Mae at a much lower price than what it was listed at. So my question is, what happens now? How can a make an offer or purchase this home if it’s no longer on homepath or listed for sale? Will it come back onto Homepath eventually? Thanks!

I'm in! looking forward to meeting some Portland folks in the REI world!

Hey Chelsea! I'm in Scappoose too!  I am an agent and also an investor. I'm currently looking for a flip house...and possibly some partners...would you like to meet up for coffee and chat?
