Hi @Derek Torculas is your meeting in BP events?

When and where do you typically meet?

We meet on the first Tuesday of every month in Arcata.

Hi @Jay Helms,

We actually started our own meetup here in Arcata, it's listed in the BP events page.  I have not been to Redding looking for properties, it's a 2 hour, windy road to get there from here.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi Everyone,

We had a small turn out but we did have 2 new people attend.

Thank you to Amber, Josh, Olivia and Tony, of course it was Olivia and Tony's first time attending.

Be on the look out for a Humboldt County Real Estate Networking on Facebook, Amber and Josh recommended creating the group to get more people.

We also discussed starting the meeting at 7 PM instead of 5:30, let me know how you feel about starting at 7:00 PM.

See you next month!

Hello Everyone,

I'm sorry, I should have sent this message out on Sunday to remind you that we are meeting.

Let me know if anyone showed up, I plan to be there Tuesday night.

Dan

@Taylor Knott One contractor to avoid is DMC in McKinleyville, should have mentioned that last time. I'm sure you know, with any contractor the initial quoted price might be great, but they will most likely get into the project and start creating change orders and drive up the cost.

Hi Taylor,

Have you heard of Alchemy Construction? Steve Bonner is the owner. I have seen their work and talked to the a family they did the work for and it was all good. Granted it was only one house/owner but WOW.

I have heard they they are a bit more expensive than other construction companies. Their you can find them at Alchemyinc on the web.

Hi Everyone,

We have a NEW VENUE, our meeting on Feb 3rd will be at the Plaza Grill, in Arcata, right on the plaza(square).

The address is 780 7th Street, on the third floor.

If you come up the elevator in the back of the building, enter the restaurant, walk pass the bar to the sunken area in the middle of the floor.

If you come in the front door and goes up the stairs, take a left at the top of the stairs , again we will be in the sunken area.

We will be meeting at 5:30 and we will have a waiter if anyone would like a beverage or anything. Having the waiter will be nice because we won;t have to wait at the bar to get a drink or snack.

We have been provided this area FREE of charge, so please order some type of beverage to show a little appreciation for them allowing us to use their space.

Parking is free in the area.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

Please let me know if you are bringing any guests, all are welcome!
