I got around a 15 to 17% return. If I did my math correctly.

I'm in the process of doing my first flip and the house as a covered front porch with roof damage. It wasn't original to the house and wasn't done correctly.

I got a price to fix it doing it the right way this time for $5,545 verses $1,500 to $2,000 to take it down. I'm not sure what to do? I know it adds curb appeal to the home but this is money I could spend on the inside.

It would Be better to get a new drop in tub/shower ect...with the cost being around $1,000 for that and I would get a better return.

Also I've only had one person give me a price so I plan to meet with 2 or 3 more. I also think I can get him to come down to around $5,000 easy but I want to get close to $4,000 as possible. I think at that number I couldn't go wrong.

Please help!
