Is there any info or other post on requirements for landlords that are trying to rent to section 8?

EX: building requirements, rent pricing, etc.

Looking into buying a home as a section 8 rental but want to know the in and outs before doing so.

I’m trying to put together a offer currently but have question on some stuff like when was the last time the roof we replaced/repaired, what kind of plumbing, wiring, etc. are these due diligence question that should be asked after offer is made to the agent/realtor? Or is it just as acceptable to ask before offer is made.  Thank you ahead of time for anyone who answers/helps me out!

Appreciate the help Aaron, will definitely make note of everything you said. Your awesome!

So I’m currently looking at a duplex that was constructed in 1910. I have a question that could come with many answers. What are some of the main questions and concerns I should be asking/looking for when dealing with a building that is so old. I can take all the help I can, it would be my first deal ever by the way!

I’m just wondering whether people think it’s truly beneficial to my future in real estate to commit to doing this
