Hi @Ned Carey, thank you for the warm welcome. I certainly don't think that it's going to be easy. Far from it. I know that I'm going to have to work hard and make smart moves to make this work. It's a huge help to read about what everyone else is doing or has experienced, whether or not they're following in the same strategies. I'm enjoying the education part of learning about the business and hope that it will soon pay off.
Thank you,
Cynthia

Good evening everyone!
I just want to say hi! New investor in the Tacoma area looking forward to connect. This forum seems pretty quiet. Please let me know if there is a better area to meet everyone. Otherwise I hope to speak with you soon.

@Dale Graham, given the impact of Covid and adjustments being made to learning, you should plan on different exit strategies and don't bank on student housing being an immediate ssolution. Not saying it would be impossible, but with distance, or online learning expanding, there may not be a reliable market for student housing.

Hi everyone!
Looking for a little advice regarding how to connect with the Wholesalers serving my area. Initial investment area is Pierce County/ Tacoma region, with Snohomish County as a stretch goal. Recently started getting involved with different Meetup groups and new to BP. Hoping to develop relationships to build my business as well as yours if the opportunity arises.
Thanks,
Cynthia

Hello BP Universe!
First of all, I would like to thank all of you for the education you've provided on your experiences thus far. I read BP A LOT. It helps to learn from like minded people that have walked the path before me. It's my wholehearted belief that success in life and business is due to the relationships we cultivate. I think that will be truer than may be typical in regards to real estate investment. I live in WA and will be investing in Pierce County and excited to connect with people in the area. Wholesalers! Let's connect. I have no interest in pursuing Wholesaling myself, but will definitely rely on Wholesaler leads to find properties that might work for me.
Is this the best time to start investing? Some say yes, some say no. In my view, it's the perfect time for me. I have the ability to focus my attention to learn and put the work in now. There are likely some big swings coming to the industry due to what's going on in the world, but that too could help me by throwing me in the deep end and challenging me to be agile and creative in my pursuits. So, whether you live in the neighborhood or not, let's be friends! :) I'm happy to be here and learn and contribute to the conversation.
Cheers!
Cynthia
