I honestly think I was just thinking too hard about it. A lot of the time things seem harder than usual until you actually take action. I did find an agent who has been in the game awhile and has a lot of knowledge about which neighborhoods are hot , finding good deals, how to figure out the value of property, etc. I also am going to join my local real estate investor club and network with some people. The next meeting is in a couple weeks. Also you were very right about how hard it is to find deals, I still haven't found one yet. Im not going to give up though, because I know that first deal will definitely be worth it. I'll keep you guys posted.

You and I are birds of a feather here. I'm enrolled in a class at the moment, but I'm also new to this. I'm willing to share what I've learned so far, and hopefully we can both help each other rise to great heights.

You aren't kidding about the info part. To make a keyword for a REI method is a great idea. I'm going to do that now. Anymore tips?

Hey all.

I'm new to REI, and fairly lacking in the Network Department. I'm looking to hone my wholesale skills at the moment. I can find deals, I can get contracts, but I have no buyers. Are there any investors out there who work in the Hampton Roads Area or NOVA area? I'd love to start connecting and learning from anyone who'll offer.

Hey Everyone.

I'm a new member from Virginia. I just recently became active in the REI world. All aspects of REI are of interest to me, but at the moment I'm trying to hone my wholesale skills. This is proving to be quite difficult dup to my lack of a solid network. Bigger pockets was suggested to me by a friend, so here I am. I hope to meet new people and learn as much as I can for as long as I can while doing my part to enhance the REI community.
