Thanks a lot. I guess i was wondering from an investor point of view I can't answer all those questions because I've never purchased or sold any properties. But anything helps! Thanks for the starting point!

Hi Christopher Johnson !! Im here in Atlanta and new as well. I look forward to reading the responses from this, because I too, am ready to bite the bullet and start wholesaling. Im optimistic and thinking there will always be work!! But i do understand the concern i see bandit signs as well as Billboards all over Atlanta that state we buy ugly houses etc.. Im hoping that with time and hustle I'll build enough RELATIONSHIPS (which i always hear is the most important thing) And solve enough problems when it comes to meeting sellers needs that I can create a profitable business until I am able to move on to Rehabbing.. or getting my license!  Good luck out here. Maybe we could connect in the future and bounce some ideas back and forth. Hopefully, someone will chime in with some good responses to keep the optimism going

I'm interested in wholesaling myself. From the podcasts and forums I've gathered it's a numbers game as someone said above its better to send 7 letters to one person vs 7 ppl one letter. I'm gathering my data now and after I build a website I will begin direct mailing but I'm still figuring out a strategy to make my letter stand out. Hope u find your sweet spot! Keep us updated I'm always learning and taking notes

Good insight I think it's important to keep the important things first if that makes sense. And never lose sight of that. I'm getting into this business to first have the freedom to spend time with my family and not ask the boss for a day off to go on a field trip with my daughter. And secondly to retire comfortably one day with my wife!

Just stopped by to say CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

Great post and Great Feedback. Almost every podcast and book I've read clearly states in some form or fashion the importance of JUST DOING IT. I didnt want to fall into that dreaded pile of not being able to pull the trigger! Although I've been learning learning learning and have yet to do my first deal I am still taking some sort of action! Whether it be thru my personal finances as well as always trying to find a mentor.. Ive offered every REI I've meant my services of time (driving for dollars, making calls, etc..) in exchange for hey I just wanna walk thru some deals with you from beginnning to end. I've already been burned by one mentor, but thats still not stopping my drive. So, again great post and great feedback. Knowledge without actions equals nothing and action without knowledge wont lead to much either (at least in the beginning) And Good luck!
