I see where you are coming from. I'm an anesthetist and easily clear 6 figures. However, i am lucky that i enjoy my job. But i do envision the day where i cut back to 1-2 days a week of doing anesthesia and 1-2 days a week of real estate.

If you really do hate your job/career then i would recommend you step away. Keep your licensure though... You will be much more successful doing something that you love as opposed to doing something that you hate. Also, removing such a big negativity from your life will almost certainly enrich all other areas of your life.
