@Jeffrey Masessa You did the right thing getting advice from those who are where you want to be. Each person has their own path of how they ended up there. What is great about life is YOU make your way. Ask yourself the important questions when deciding on this. Does RE investing or anything you want to do in RE REQUIRE a degree? What is the best way for you learn the business? I’ll leave it like this, it is 2020 and the amount of information, connections, etc. are most accesible than ever before. In my meaningless opinion, you don’t NEED college for RE.

@Peter T. Could not agree more!

@Todd Powell This is the steady norm here in San Diego. Constantly seeing this in the apartment complex I live which is a no pets allowed. I see dogs all over the place.

I've faced my fears and invested with the minimal amount in a starter account and am upgrading to the next plan up. I can't believe I was scared and wish I had only started this sooner. I understand the risks that are involved with investing in ANYthing, and frankly, it's a risk I'm willing to take - and it's exhilarating.

Has anyone have the experience in investing in real estate through Fundrise, or do you recommend anything that you know of that is "best?"

Please share your thoughts! I am open to everyone's opinions/thoughts!

Thanks! ;)

I am in the same boat as you! Nervous about buying my first property etc. I have invested in Fundrise with the minimal amount and am glad you started this thread. BiggerPockets ALWAYS has what I am looking for on any subject related to REI. Based off of what I have read already, I will be contributing more to Fundrise and will take it to the next level. Good ol' Nawlins. I have tons of family there and grew up there a little bit as well. How is the market looking??

Hey everyone, this is my first post ever on here and have been a member for a little bit. I am that guy that is always stuck in analysis paralysis and never move forward. I am BRAND SPANKING NEW to this. I recently moved from Tucson to San Diego for work and I want o buy my first buy and hold rental property. I want to buy in Tucson simply because it is the only area that I am familiar with. I am interested in B properties; however, I have been looking into the Continental Ranch area and Marana area. Any info, guidance, partnerships, etc. would be great. I am willing to learn and finally ready to take the leap. Please feel free to contact me!
