Hey Adrian, I know all about money shortages. You can spend your energy and time finding good deals; either using a realtor and the MLS or by door knocking or some other "free" creative ways. Once you've got a good deal under contract, you can partner with another investor in your area with money or simply wholesale the deal to make some bucks. In my opinion, it's ALL about getting your hands on good (and hopefully great) deals! The money will come for sure if you've got that.

Welcome Zack! BP is a wonderful addiction. I find that everyone here is open to helping in some way. If you spot a thread or response from a BP member and want to learn more, just shoot them a connection request with your question and they're likely to get back to you. I did that at least 3 dozens times last year and met some amazing investors!

@Chance Housos Not a bad idea. I'm going to play around with different direct mail pieces and something bold and direct will definitely be included. Thanks!

Hi family,
I'm stuck. I'm trying to finalize my branding (i.e. company name, marketing message, etc.) and I'm torn on which brand direction to take. Here are the options (but not the actual brand names):
A. "I Buy Houses": I like this approach because it's direct. In theory, people will only contact me if they're interested in selling. However, I'm concerned that (1) homeowners will perceive me as a self-interested investor and (2) when I get them on the phone, they will only want to know my buying price, not allowing me to build a relationship.
B. "I Help Homeowners": I like this approach because it's less about me and more about helping. I feel that I will get more leads and that people will open up to me more. However, I'm concerned that I may be misleading people of my ultimate motives as an investor. I also feel that I may spend an unnecessary amount of time dealing with homeowners who don't want to sell.
Which do you feel will work better and why?
I'd particularly like to hear from those that invest regularly in marketing.

Hi all,
I just sent out yellow letters and should be receiving phone calls in the coming weeks. I'm curious to know what are some common questions or objections that you hear from sellers. Which questions do they ask most often?
Please also include the responses that you give to their questions/objections.

@Vincent Crane True. I see equity as dollars, so you'd still take a loss. Nonetheless, every investment comes with risk whether it's long term or shert term.

@Sharon Vornholt Thank you for explaining this more clearly. I will start with a motivated sellers site and add the others over time so that I don't feel overwhelmed. I'll put an ABOUT page on the motivated sellers site so that they can learn about me and my company.

@Steve G. Makes sense. Ask, listen, repeat. Thank you!
And yes, @Fitzgerald Hall sorry for taking over your post.
