Hmmm.....I was hoping for more input as well.  He provides a ton of positive FB reviews, etc., but I'd rather hear from this forum.

Chris....I'll help you connect with someone who has sold real estate in both markets.

I think you’d be hard pressed to find a lender to loan on a property.  There have been threads about investment financing in Omaha.  I’d give quite a few a call to see if any would lend.

I imagine the best path is it to look for deals, partner with someone experienced who can carry the financing and you get a cut/percentage and/or finder’s fee, as well as, starting your track record of doing deals.

Unfortunately, there are lot of garbage options.  I had to go to small claims with one of the larger ones and I know of another that has two employees to oversee 700 units.

Although I haven’t used them, a good friend went from self-management to hiring someone around the beginning of the year for 30 units.  He’s a tough customer and he’s been very happy with Dee Myers at Midtown Realty

Carlo... I have a different opinion.   I call the place Midtown Ghost Town instead of Midtown Crossing.   The only reason some of the restaurants/bars stay afloat is they are on percentage rent and those are the fortunate ones--one location that comes to mind has turned over three times.

I'll try to stop bashing Mutual's gift to Omaha and I'll just put it this way--if you can find a way to make money in the highest priced condo development in the city, you are doing something very impressive.

If you are curious about the general area of "midtown omaha," that's a very different story.
