@Mike Lambert  I've read most of the posts on this site regarding international investing.  I followed your posts to find most of them.  Still looking for the right investment in Mexico.

I've been researching this very thing for a purchase in Mexico.  The real estate lawyer in Mexico said we can buy property in the forbidden zone as @Mike Lambert described. He said I would need a trust, which he would establish in Mexico, cost $200-300US a year to maintain, and I would would still use a US LLC. Here he is talking about it on youtube. The interviewer is awful, but Spencer is informative.

Michael, I remember hearing about the REI group, I'll definitely look it up. The RPOA was very helpful when we bought our first rental 10 years ago. Great website, btw.

Currently a VP of Sales, I have seen the writing on the wall. Dodged two layoffs...ready to take charge. We own 1 duplex, and would like to increase our holdings. I am researching Flips and Wholesaling which led me here. Devouring the info. Books, podcasts, forums, ebooks. Awesome! Thank you all!
