Hello I'm new to the community of BP and wanted to introduce myself. I've lived in the Acadiana area for most of my life. I don't have any experience in real estate but really want to jump in and start learning to be able to build a career in something I have had an interest in since I was young. My goal is to create a portfolio of long term rentals consisting of single family homes and multi-family homes; eventually being able to move into small to medium sized apartment complexes.  Any advice and books to check out would be greatly appreciated!
