I hope everyone is having a great summer! This month at the Tucson Multifamily Meetup we have a special guest: Mr. Arturo Mojica, of HomeVestors. Yes we are mixing up a bit. It will be all single family this time! Art has made a successful business out of buying and renting out single family homes in the Tucson area, in the hundreds if not thousands of them. By the way, his company is able to do this in one of the toughest housing markets ever. Join us this month at Firetruck Brewing on Grant Rd. Thursday Sep. 7th at 6 PM.

I can't wait for our next event of the Tucson Multifamily Meetup! We have the honor of presenting Hamid Panahi of Marcus and Millichap's IPA Division. Hamid and Clint Wadlund are the top brokers in larger multifamily in Tucson and beyond. We look forward to hearing insight on the present market and future opportunities that could be coming. 

Even in down markets, Hamid and team are very active doing deal. We will learn how they continue to remain at the top of their game. We will also find out what it takes to speak with the top brokers and how to win deals! We meet the first Thursday of the month.

This month at the Tucson Multifamily Meetup, we will feature Randy Smith, multifamily investor from Phoenix AZ. I can honestly say that Randy is among the top multifamily investors here in AZ and beyond. He has had the privilege of working with teams like Rise48 and Lonestar. Randy has been able to achieve the ultimate goal in investing which is to escape the rat race. He actually lives on the cash flow from his investments! We're going to be talking a lot about cash flow at our next session and Randy is going to tell us his amazing story of how was able to become financially independent by investing in multifamily properties. She is going to give us the low down on the Tucson market, rent trends and how she finds the best tenants to fill the properties she manages. Ray is the host of ROIClear, a podcast for business leaders and he also owns Bridgetown Partners, LLC, a prominent real estate investing company right here in AZ and hosts the weekly AZmm.org meetup group. We will hear how his team recently closed on an Assisted Living Facility in Sierra Vista and their other multifamily projects in Nashville TN, Phoenix AZ and Texas. We all enjoyed Ray's enthusiasm and energy the last time he came, not to mention the wealth of knowledge he passed on.
