Post: Asking the right questions with agents/brokers

As I have started out my REI endeavors (multifamily syndication) I have had several phone calls with real estate agents/brokers in the hopes to develop a relationship. Usually I call about a property, ask a few closed ended questions and the conversation ends there. My goal is to transition the conversation to asking questions about the agent/broker/brokerage and how they operate, but I am not too sure what to even ask outside of very basic questions.
Are there any questions you like to ask possible agents/brokers? Or if you are an agent/broker are there any questions that you've heard that stood out to you?

Thanks

@Cody Hughes hi and welcome. Tell us, why syndication and what role are you thinking about playing ?

I first developed long term goals I wanted to achieve (such as creating generational wealth for my family) and after researching different REI avenues I thought syndication fit the mold the best pertaining to those goals and my skillset. I do understand things change though, so I am open to any new opportunities that cross my path!
Regarding the syndication role, my main focus is to pursue a general partner role.

Hey BiggerPockets!
I am new to posting on BiggerPockets, but I've explored the forums and podcasts.
I just moved to Dallas, TX and am currently a Mechanical Engineer for a robotics company, but have always been interested in REI. I just never got around to really jumping in until now!
I am interested in pursuing multifamily syndication and thought to put my name out here to connect and network with the community.
