Thanks for the reply Daniel, do you have any tips on how to find and investor friendly agent? Just ask around and through word of mouth?

Start getting an idea of what rents in the area you're looking for are, so you can know what to charge people and plan what you can afford to borrow. You don't need to buy a duplex or triplex right away. You can start by renting out a room in your current apartment or house. This will give you a chance to build up your equity and savings, and it will also teach you the basics of being a landlord.

I'm looking to House Hack as a start too my investing career, could I get a few tips to house hack in a very expensive place like Toronto, Canada. I have about $30,000 saved up as of now and I am a full time student in University, and tips or knowledge would be much appreciated.

Hi there, I am new to real estate investing and just finished reading Brandon Turner's book on Real estate investing, he mentioned in some podcasts about how important knowing the terminology is and I was wondering if there is somewhere where I can read and understand all real estate investing concepts and start to get comfortable with the language.
