all good tags thanks!

I was exited to find the site, I don't think its the "real MLS" but its my city's association of realtors mls so it has lots of good properties and I can set up alerts, all without a license. I wonder how comprehensive it really is though

Hey BP!

Im not sure if its full access, but ive found a portal to see my local MLS thru a broker's website. My question is this, what are good "tags" or terms to look for rehab properties on mls?

Ive used rehab construction needs work, etc. with very little success. what terms do u use when searching the mls or do u not use any and just search them all?

hello @Adam Lynch

If I were you I would head on over to www.biggerpockets.com/UBG to get a 50,000 foot view of the real estate investing world.

I myself am somewhat new, but I would advise being very careful jumping in to raise cash for something so close in the future (depending on how far away the wedding will be) but my point is don't jump into it to fast. However, having goals is a great motivator. Start educating yourself on the basics and enjoy!

thank you all! It truly is the next phase. I got married about 7 months ago, am finally graduated college, and am dying to begin investing. I have a partner and plan to flip three houses this year. I also plan to house hack as soon as my lease is up in May.

Investing has always made sence to me and when I found BP I just thought IM NOT ALONE? there are other people who actually think its ok to want to make money? haha

Hello BP!

I graduated college this week with business management and a math minor. I currently am working as the inventory manager for a local company but am looking for a job related to real estate.

What would you say is a good job (besides being an agent) that would allow me to learn about real estate while I begin investing?

and to my Pensacola people, if you know of any jobs locally that pertain in ANY way to real estate please let me know!

thank you for any input

I know this isn't really a "real estate" success, but hey I'm still excited! Yesterday I finished most of my college classes and am pretty much graduated from college! My classes and work have been stealing 99% of my time so I am very happy to be done and able to continue my learning in real estate and get back involved in the community!

just glad to be back
