Hi All,

Newer to wholesaling and I had a question. Obviously no one wants to be in a position where they are not able to find a buyer. If I had a property under contract through an LLC and was not able to find a buyer, could I purchase the contract myself as opposed to the LLC purchasing it? Please let me know your thoughts.

Hi Everyone,

I just purchased my first townhome that I plan to live in for a year then rent out. I am going to make some updates while living there. I plan to replace the flooring, paint the cabinets, update appliances, paint and put on a new countertop. I am trying to decide between granite and laminate. The going rate is between 1300 and 1500 a month. How much value does a granite counter top add over a laminate? Please let me know what you think.

@Will Fraser Thanks Will! Does that affect the way the LLC shields your assets if they are using your personal credit?

Hi Everyone,

I am in the process of looking for my first deal. I am considering starting an LLC with my partner but I wasn't sure how credit to finance these deals works. Will I be able to finance deals without any sort of credit history in the business? Will they consider the credit history of my partner and myself? Please let me know your thoughts and experiences.

Thanks,

Post: Pros/Cons of Hiring Mentor?

@Chinyere Orie try to avoid hiring a mentor. What I found works is find someone who you are interested in working with. Call them and let them know you’ve been looking for a mentor. The key part is creating time for them and also spending time. Let them know you will do tedious tasks to work along side them. For the best mentors their time is more valuable than money. Become an asset for them and they will do everything they can to help. That is showing them you are willing to do anything to learn. Your mentor will not only appreciate that but also see your work ethic. I have been cleaning out garages, moving things, painting for my mentor. While doing these tasks I get to pick his brain. Then after we complete the task we sit down and learn. Hope this helps!!
