@Anthony Madle while I live in NJ I don’t invest there any longer. The taxes are very high, prices are inflated, and the laws favor tenants greatly. If you are buying in NJ you should have enough reserves to afford to carry a property for six months at least if your tenant doesn’t pay.

Curious, where do you invest now? NJ tenant laws and taxes are having me consider investing somewhere else as well.

NJ is a tough market right now. Homes that need renovation and are priced right to flip barely last on the market.

I am looking to appeal taxes on a bank owned property I purchased in the end of October. I've heard its very hard to be successful when its a bank owned property. Anyone have advice or tips on a successful appeal in NJ? Thank you!

The town has the permit and the documents saying it was removed.
