@Zachary Steidl from HI to NC......First question is WHY? Lol

There are tons of great places, it depends on what you are looking for.

Do you have a job that will be tying you to a specific location?

Do you prefer the city, the country, the beach, the mountains?

There’s a huge military base here with nice locations within a short drive.

The Triangle area is always great.

Charlotte is as well.

There is great golf around my area.

Asheville is a nice area in the mountains if that’s more your vibe.

Wilmington and the Outer Banks is great if your looking to hang on the beach.

Just depends on what you, and the miss, are looking for.

Feel free to chat with me on the side of you have any questions.

Best of luck on the move/transition.

In the state of Connecticut, should you receive prorated rent from the date that you sign the closing papers or from the date that the signed papers were filed?

The reason why these deposits weren't collected is that the tenant is the owners friend. But since I will be taking over the property very soon should I collect payment for security deposit and pet deposit or not. What are your suggestions to go about this during these times. The other unit is currently vacant and will be rehabbed before we get another tenant in there.

@Kyle Roberts welcome!! The triangle area is a great market to be in. North Carolina in general has a ton of opportunities. I'm down in the Pinehurst, Fayetteville, Ft Bragg area. Feel free to reach out anytime.

What is your go-to dialer for your REI business AND Why?

With so many different options out there (GoggleVoice, Mojo, Call Rail) it becomes an information overload for a new investor who is just getting started. Let's give them a place where that can base their decision off of actual experience and feedback.
