Thanks for the feedback. I'm leaning towards getting an LLC weather I get a line of credit from a bank or use a hard money lender. I do have quit a bit of equity in my house but my wife is NOT ok with using it. I'll have to figure out a creative way to get the money I need to get things started. thanks again for your input!

If I set up an LLC would it be better/easier to get a line of credit from a bank or hard money lender? I am trying to learn as much as I can about investing before I jump into it! Thanks in advance for any input.

What are some good questions I should ask     when talking to a  private hard money lender?  I've seen some things about points what are they for? I think they typically charge 10%-12%, what is the percentage usually for a beginner investor  i'm assuming higher percentage  because there's more risk. I'm not sure how it all works, I'm trying to get educated so I know what to  expect ( and not look like an idiot) when talking to a  hard money lender?  Thanks in advance for any help!

I have never dealt with setting one up. I'm not looking to get real fancy at this time but something that is still effective.

What is the average cost to start up a single page website? Are their monthly fees? I want to do something more than just bandit signs. I am just starting out and haven't done any deals yet. I have very little money to get started and want to figure out the most cost effective way to get things rolling.

I know someone who invest in real estate as well as other things and is very  successful. I would like to ask him to be my mentor and or be a hard money lender. I'm not sure if it's a good idea or not so I'm looking for some advise. He is the main investor for the company that I work at. I have worked for this company for almost 10 yrs and am known to be a very valuable employee. I'm concerned that it might be a conflict of interest for him. I can't do anything that would jeopardize my job.

I am very new to real estate investing and am having trouble deciding what to get into as far as wholesaling or rehabs.  I don't want to get into renting out property with the excepting of maybe doing a few rent to owns. Is it a good idea to try and do all three now or just focus on one?
