I’m looking for flip houses/multi family throughout louisiana and need to link up with a wholesaler. I’ve looked a lot and not much luck. Any suggestions?

@Steven Wilson

Thanks Steven.

So it’s 2 duplex. One of them has a studio apartment,

2 bedroom and a shed attached to it under the same roof with 700 square ft. So we figured we would take the shed and turn it into a separate apartment.

The second one is a 2 bedroom. And a 3 bedroom. We wanted to take the 3 bedroom and by simply adding a wall 10’ with a fire wall it would become 2 1 bedrooms.

It will cash flow a good bit more by adding the 2 apartments to the complex

Hello,

So I’m hoping to find some advise to point me in the right direction with a new project I just encountered.

My partner and myself just purchased 2 duplex and would like to convert them into 3 plex. Of course before starting, this sound like a great idea. The entire project is a flip to say the least. We are really unsure on how to go about permits and regulations on electrical and plumbing for the property if we do turn it into a 3 plex.

So my question is....

The number game makes since for it to go from a 2 plex to a 3 plex but is the process worth it? And if it is any pointers for the new guy?

Thanks.

Hello, so I am very new to this... I’m taking over some apartments and have agreed to pay the owner back via promissory note over a 10 year period. No interest flat number completely bypassing bank. And to be honest I couldn’t be any more confused in a few areas.

The apartments are located in south Louisiana I will be remotely close to be able to oversee them. I feel comfortable with the upkeep and repairs.

I have been trying to get some direction pertaining to insurance routes (umbrella vs LLC) or really the best available option. Any help would be appreciated.
