Right now i have about a 730 credit score, however i have only had a credit history for about 7 months. Now i know i can get a private investor to fund my purchase and rehab, however would my credit be enough to get a refinance loan from the bank? (Also to buy a house, would i need a good credit history too if i do not buy in full?)

@Twana Rasoul Thank you for all your help!

@Jon Schwartz thank you for the knowledge! I live in artesia which is borderline la and oc. I want to house hack or just BRRR honestly. And i am willing to move anywhere within la, riverside, it doesn't matter. As long as it is in SoCal and i can afford it. And I don't want to do palm dale, a little to far for me if i had to oversee the construction workers doing their job. Any tips on finding houses on the wedge here in the LA market?

@Twana Rasoul What if i buy a beater home and fix it up? Could i still recuperated my money? Also what is the 203k?

@Jon Schwartz thank you Jon, I see that you’re are in LA. I am as well, do you believe that it is a good time to purchase a house with everything going on still?

@Twana Rasoul Thank you for the advice! If i BRRR a house hack, I could still refinance and recuperate my money right?

@Joseph Firmin Alright will do, been looking at purchasing the package. Thank you!

Hello, I am new to this group and real estate. I have been looking to get into real estate for about a year now, but not until recently I was able to gain some capital of about $20,000. What can I do to start BRRRing a house locally when the market prices in SoCal are too high? Also, I am 21 and I have only have had a credit line opened since February of this year. However, my credit score is already at 730. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
