@Corey Abrams I recently bought a house with a VA loan. I get a few letters a week from different companies offering refinancing so I'm sure there is some way to find that list of vets. I don't really have any advice to offer but I will say that I get enough of those letters that they're all the same to me and they're all recycled. I personally think going out and meeting them face to face would be better for your business than sending those letters. Good luck to you.

@Elizabeth O. Is your property in Fairfax Station? I was wondering because I have been looking around for a PM for my house in Woodbridge that I will be renting soon. 

@ Daniel Lehman. Thanks for the advice. Any thoughts on having a mortgage with a bank that isn't physically close to you? I checked out NASB and they seem like a good company but I think they're local to MO and I'm in Virginia.

@Chris Mason Hey thanks for the response. What is your reasoning for not paying the rate down? After reading your comment I was thinking about it. 16000 savings-1500 up front cost= 14500 vs 20000-4500= 15500. So to this means $3000 out of pocket today in order to save $1000 dollars over the course of 30 years. If I'm thinking right, that really isn't so appealing after all.
