@Christopher Dunson I have the tool page bookmarked (https://www.biggerpockets.com/investment-calculators) and it’s working.

** edit sorry just realized your problem was with subscription **

No Matter what membership I choose all it does it bring me to the dashboard. I have logged out and in and selected all membership options as well as reviewed all notifications and messages in account. Updated some things just incase my profile was out of date. Looked for CC info to put in new CC info. There is no area for that.

Anybody?

I've been a pro member for at least 5 years, probably 8. I'm trying to use the calculator. I go to re-sign up for pro and all membership level just bring me back to the dashboard area. Anybody know the problem and solution?

Hi everyone and thank you for taking your time to help. What are the differences if any to Airbnb Write offs and tax benefits compared to traditional rental or small multifamily rental properties? Depreciation, cost segregation, etc. I have a client who is being told by someone she trusts there are vast differences in the strategies between the two and she can write off and have more benefits with airbnb, so she feels she has to do Airbnb. I have found her a house with a 4 plex on the same lot, and it would be 1, more reliable long term as a traditional rental, and 2, the 4 plex is seperated and extremely private and she could airbnb the main home if she wanted and bring in more money.

Are there any tax benefits that one has that it's not possible for the other to have?

@John Warren Thanks a lot John for the insight and the perspective. Here, the staff would be my employees and the agents would be 1099 employees under the brokerage and myself as a team leader if I'm not mistaken and I will confirm this and update what I find.

@Kurt Brauner Very interesting. Do you have an excellent real estate CPA that you recommend? If so, do they also specialize in Real Estate Property assets as well?

What is the best entity type/ structure for a real estate team. I am not sure the different benefits of an LLC C corp and S corp. I have heard most people do LLC, but most people are not growing a med sized business. Team will be growing and larger 25-100 people.

INcludes:

Buyer agents

ISA's

Assistants

Videographer/Marketer

Listing Agents

Team leads

CEO

Eventually Accounting

Thank you all very much for you insight.

Alright so talked with my RE attorney and said that the structure I am looking at is more like a loan than an investor investing to get a return for my business. Let me know what you all think if this is true.

Meeeting with CPA at 3:30.

Anything I am missing? Thoughts? Structure? Let's go pros what do you got for me?
