My husband and I are thinking about getting started out of state and have been looking into investing in either Vegas, Austin or Fort Worth. We want to start on a couple of smaller BRRRRs. Can anyone give any recommendations on property managers, contractors or realtors in either of those areas? Thanks you!

Should we form an LLC or not? I know someone who rented out a single family home and the renters are trying to sue her for $500,000 in medical bills from mold in the building.

What are the pros and cons?

We have a VA loan we can use on a 4 until multiplex - we would have to live in one of the units. To purchase we'd need a down payment because the no down payment VA loans only cover up to a certain amount.

Would investors be interested in teaming up for something like that? What type of investors should I look for? Or is this too small of a scale?

Our plan would be to team up with someone, split the rent income, and eventually sell the property when the market is up.

Hello, My husband and I are new to investing in real estate and are looking for guidance. My husband is a veteran and we are eligible for a VA home loan. We are considering purchasing a multiplex with the loan and living in one of the units to make income while paying the mortgage.

We were then considering using a 203k loan to purchase another rental property.

Is this a good strategy? Or advise a better one? Can anyone recommend a broker or mortgage expert in the LA valley area? Thanks!
