Post: Direct mail postcards

Looking for advise on direct mail postcards. When starting out do you hand write all postcards by yourself, how do you track the mailers if so? I've been looking into bulk pricing for postcards and postage but it doesn't seem that I can come close to the company's that provide the service, plus they have repeat mailer software for tracking and remaining.

If you are using a service which ones are you happy with and what's the cost associated?

During my meetup last night a very interesting question came up about the calculators. A member was concerned about putting the address of the property in the calculators fearing who could actually see the address and what the data is intended for. The member continued to say that if you have 1 million subscribers and they did one calculator per week that would equal a lot of address for “someone” to have access to. I personally never thought about it but it does get one wondering. Thoughts?

It sure is! My events are more social where you won’t be pitched products or programs. I try to have knowledgeable people at each meeting to help answer questions.

Welcome Geoffrey! I have a local meetup in Frisco you can check out to get the investment juices flowing. Look for it in the Events page under the Network tab. Aug 13th. Keep your nose in BP, ask questions, read the recommended books and listen to the podcast.

This event was created to cater to the ones that live in the northern part of DFW and can't get to the other social events during the week. Come out and chat with local investors with all experience levels. This week we will have Phil Treadwell stopping by to give insight on the mortgage side of the business. Phil comes to us with many years of experience in the mortgage industry and currently holds the tile of VP of Development & Regional Manager at Mason-McDuffle Mortgage Corporation, Co-Founder of the Industry Syndicate, and founder/ host of the Mortgage Marketing Expert podcast. Don't miss this great opportunity to chat with Phil, who is killing it in his industry!
