I’m buying my first home very soon, around schertz Tx. The plan is to live in it a couple years then use it as a rental. Rinse and repeat. Does anyone have any experience with using LenderFi for their Loan? Please share your experience, the good and the bad! Thank you !

I actually build cell towers around Texas. I can tell that our crew that builds the compound can usually have that finished start to finished within a week, maybe 2 depending on the size of the lease area. As far as the tower itself, we can have the whole thing built in 1-5 days, also depending on the type and size of tower. Also just some more advice, I’ve heard from many people in the industry. Negotiation is key, as with any money making opportunity. I’ve heard stories of people getting screwed over by not giving a counter offer on the lease price, and accepting the first offer that was thrown at them. When the tower owner was willing to go up almost double what was offered. Also heard of people losing the contract because they got to greedy, so there’s a fine line. Best of luck with your endeavors!

I am about 6-8months away from purchasing my first investment property/house hack in the San Antonio area. Currently I live and work in New Braunfels, and I haven’t had any luck finding property that will work for me in this area. I’m looking for a duplex that will cash flow when I move out, appreciation would also be a great bonus. Thanks a lot for this info and for taking the time to write such a great post !

I agree with Matthew. Bump key or something to "rake" the pins and 5-10mins on YouTube.

I build and maintain communications towers in Texas. I do a lot of work for Verizon Wireless. Recently just got back from the Texas coast, working on getting their cell towers and cell service working properly again. I'm here learning as much as I can about REI, should be ready to purchase my first house hack property next year. Nice to meet everyone !
This is coming from Texas but, I believe occupy for at least 1 year with FHA, 2 years to use the income from the property to qualify for another loan if it's your first time as a landlord. I'm new to this so take my advice for what it is. Good luck on your endeavors!
