I currently own a 2 family in Weymouth Ma and want to know if anyone were to guess in the south shore area of Braintree , Weymouth , and Quincy Ma what could rentals go up to? I live in a 1 bed room unit and rent out the 3 bedroom unit for $2400 a month what do you think a 3 bedroom and 1 bedroom unit could go for in 5-10 years ?

What do you think the price of multi family or single family houses will be in 5-10 years particularly in the south shore towns like Weymouth Braintree Quincy I bought my first 2 family near Weymouth Landing about 2 months ago and want to know how it will appreciate over time

I’m closing on my first deal in November and need to find tenants for my upstairs unit . The unit is 3 bed 2 bath in Weymouth Landing close to commuter rail good location in Massachusetts how fast will I find tenants though in the month of November ? Is that a bad time to find people

@Russell Brazil Im asking to get insight on if it will crash because it has too at some point it can’t just keep going up for 5-10 years at this pace

I’ve been looking for my first deal for too long and now I feel like I’ll never have enough saved the way prices are going especially on multi family houses in Massachusetts. I’m in the south shore so I’m looking at deals in Weymouth Braintree Quincy Rockland Abington and in the city of Boston. I’m aware these areas are pricey but still when will these prices come crashing even in the less desirable places of the city like Mattapan and even closer to Franklin Park Zoo houses are too expensive.

I sound like a broken record asking this question on BP I think but do any people who have a lot of real estate knowledge think Mattapan will have a turn around like the other parts of Boston have. I see the prices and they’re much lower compared to other parts of the City as I’m looking in multi families in the area near Mattapan Station hoping I can get one before this area possibly gentrified

Has anyone ever owned a two family with a illegal third unit they lived in and rented out the other units obviously it’s more of a liability renting out the third unit if it’s not legal but if the owner was in it would it be less troublesome

Been looking for my first deal for quite a while now inventory in MA is low right now and prices are what seem to be the highest point does anyone see them stalling or even falling in the next year or so I’m worried I’ll buy at the top of the market

Predicting the next place to find an amazing deal seems hard but does anyone with knowledge of the area in Mattapan Station think it’s due for a turn around of a “ yuppies” moving in and making it the next place to move in Boston I’ve noticed prices are still High in this area but not as much as Places like Southie or Jamaica Plain
