I maybe leaving the area for a few years and need to rent out my personal residence. It is a sfh 1250 sqft 3 bed 2 bath my first home. The same house in my area rent for 1250 a mo. Bed rooms tend to rent for 550-650. This seem like a no brainer my wife is concerned about find three good tenanted vs one. With management fees I would be 100 or so out of pocket just renting it. It on a 15 year mortgage with a good interest rate. What other advantages or disadvantages to these two possibilities? Thank you for your time. BP family

I found a short sale in my area listed at 100k value should be 210k. Where do you start with and offer? Google said 10%below market value I would not be a buy at that price.

Look up the local city record look up duplexes in the city. Start looking at them in Zillow if they are off market write down the address mail them a letter asking if they have any interest in selling their house. There no meat on the bone if it is on the mls most of the time. Happy hunting.

I have been on bigger pockets for a while I have enjoy the forums and pod cast. I want to know what I am missing on the pro side. I am 6mo to a year from making my first invest. I would like to start analyzing deals to see what deals I can find. I plan to go small one multi family that is the right deal. Do not need a hundred door just a few at the right price. I would think Cadillac of travers city would be good locations just make sure the numbers work. Make sure u are close enough to the property to keep and eye on it. Good luck
