I met mine through real estate investing meetups. You can also use Eventbrite and Facebook to find a mentor as well as joining real estate associations. Here's actually an incredibly helpful video of mentoring from the Donis Brothers: 

I haven't been any of the REI meetups in Riverside, but I do know of some of them since there is a high likelihood I'll be moving to Riverside County in the future.

Most of the meetups I've been to have been in LA County, so I can't speak for the quality of any meetups in Riverside/San Bernardino County.
