@Steve Stinson

That’s more than I thought!

Sounds like a good place to invest.

Or is too late to buy an investment property now?

@Lane Kawaoka and @Steve Stinson

Sounds like maybe Amazon isn’t going to bring all that many jobs to HSV. Might you know what are the other companies/ industries that are providing jobs for the people in the area?

@Nick G.

Good that someone else will be able to make use of it and you won’t have the yearly expense any more.

I have a friend who was looking at buying a timeshare and I was looking for info to convince him not to. Your article helped a ton! Thank you!

Wow! The regulations have been around for a long time!
Do these same regulations apply to condos?  I see about 20 condos advertised on Airbnb as available for weekend rentals in May and June at the moment.

Great article Jeff!  Do either of you know if anything changed for the Madeira Beach vacation rental regulations since 2 years ago? @Jeff Copeland and @Tom Shaw ?

@Eric Weldon-Schilling

Sounds like you are not a landlord, and can’t see this problem from a landlords perspective.

You should read the comment from @JD Martin

He puts this problem into an easy to understand perspective.

@Brad Fausett

I’m glad you have shed some light on the character of James Wise.

But there is a lot of blaming going on here with both sides, and no one wants to admit to making any mistakes.

I probably won’t do business with HW in the future due to the vindictive way he handled this whole BP post and saying that all the fault was with Brad and his own company did nothing wrong. That’s no way to earn my respect for sure.

@Kayla Jones

Standard automatic bank transfer works well. I set up my bank to print an echeck every month and mail it to my landlords bank when I was subleasing from him and running an Airbnb from his rental unit. Worked great!

@Carly Turow

I’m still wondering how you saw someone walking into their backyard. Was the fence broken? Add that to rehab costs for repairing.

Anyway, your local REI group will have hard money lenders. It's best to use one sent to you from referrals.

What a great stroke of luck to run into the owner tho! Great job!
