@Ned Carey

I don't personally have any properties at the moment. However, I am a bookkeeper for a REI and QBO ProAdvisor. I still encourage clients to keep things separate and streamlined but that's just me...

@Ned Carey

Like it was said below if they are each their own LLC then expenses would need to be separate. You might want to keep expenses separate anyways for each property if you wanna track profitability by property,etc.

Not in DC.... That rent is normal

@Brandon Wolf

Hi! I’m in MD and just starting this journey. I’m gonna start going to meet ups this month and hope to purchase my first in 2020! Maybe I’ll see you around!

@Nathan G., I just have a question as a newbie. You’re saying utility costs are the landlord to bear. Is that area specific? As a renter myself I am usually responsible for my own water/sewer, electric. Is there more to the costs that landlords have that aren’t know to the tenant? I’m in MD by the way.

Hi!  I’m in the DC area and I’m looking to purchase my first rental by 2020 as well.  I could use an accountability partner!
