Hey everyone!!! I just finished the new book How to Invest in Real Estate. The Ultimate Beginners Guide to Getting Started. First I want to say I actually loved the original title START HERE it stood out to me. But this book is going to be my new bible. There is sooooooo much information in here. The thing that has been bothering me since I joined the BP community is there’s so much information for me to learn. I need to put this all in order. But then next week there’s a new podcast and a couple of new webinars. The book put everything in the order I needed. Lol. I couldn’t wait for the book to be delivered to me so I got it from Audible. Good idea to get me started and finish the book quickly and get more excited; bad idea bc there is so much information I need to see/highlight. I took notes when I could but I still need the physical copy. Lol.

I have decided that I would like to get started as a wholesaler and next year I would like to househack in a multi family home. I’m still a stay at home mom and I’m planning to start working part time and renew my mortgage license for my state...I know I don’t need it to do this but it’ll be my way to use money for advertising and other business needs. I’ve been having a hard time getting to a meet up in my area the last couple of weeks due to my husband’s work schedule and having a sitter but it’s not stopping me from networking but I still haven’t found anyone worthy of partnering with or even has the same ambition or greater as I have. I would love some advise on how to link up with seasoned wholesalers and overall investors bc this is something I want to start now and get my daughter ready for a financially free future.

Hello everyone!!! My name is Chensea and I’m new to the community. I’m so exited abt this website and all it has to offer. I heard abt it from a client of mine a while back when we were discussing the Rich Dad Poor Dad book. I recently went to a Than Merrill seminar in Michigan and they were trying to sell me on a hope. Something clicked and made me remember this site and I decided to join.

My background:

I’ve been in sales most of my working career and abt 3 years ago I started doing mortgages at a major company and loved it. I left the industry to take care of my 1st daughter full time. I entered her into modeling and she’s signed. It requires us to take her to out of state to her agency once or twice a month and this is a great road tripping experience. She just turned 1. Now I’ve enjoyed my time off and being with my daughter and want to continue doing that. This is when I decided to do more research into real estate investing. I feel this will give my family a great boost towards our dreams as well as setting up our children for financial freedom early.

I’m from Michigan in the Metro Detroit area. I would like to meet people in my area. As well as other areas to learn from and offer my time and knowledge of what I know to achieve this goal. I just want to learn as much as possible from everyone here and hopefully help someone else learn something as well.  I am expected to receive a lump sum of monies soon and want to put some of it towards our first investment property or any real estate investment. I hope to hear from some of you soon!!!!
