After browsing BiggerPockets and all of the info I've been gathering I have come to the conclusion that, nope.   I don't have a passion for real estate.   My passion is music.

Having said that, I know that real estate is a great investment tool. Yes, I already have mutual funds that likely contain real estate investments, but I was hoping to invest in either rentals or house flipping.  Who knows?  Maybe it would spark a passion!  Any advice?

Thanks.  Good advice.

I was looking for an investment, but Quebec is very far.

I live in Florida, my Mother lives in Quebec.  We are both on the title to her house.   Sadley, i will need to make a decision about her property in the next coming months and I would like to get some advice.

The house is completely paid for and, I am told, it has greatly increased in value.  Due to the two countries situation (taxes, legistics) I don't know if it would be best to sell it outright, or use it as a rental property.  The latter raises more questions such as rental agencies etc in Quebec.

Not really sure where to start...

thanks everyone!  I was thinking of 1/1 townhomes near the attractions for rental property.  Figured disney employees could be potentially good renters. I also thought this would be a good start for a newbie because of lower price, tax, and hoa fees.

Hi!  I'm an absolute newbie.  Former Secretary, currently professional musician.   I bought my home in Tallahassee, sold it.   Now I'm living in Orlando with another home I've purchased.   So I've never owned more than one home at a time.   I would like to learn more about income producing properties, not really into flipping.   So I'm looking forward to looking through this forum and gaining all kinds of information.  Hopefully I'll  be able to give back someday soon!
