Hello, everyone, I was wondering if there was some sort of data service that provide tax sale address and name of owner etc. Or is the only way to find out is by looking in the local newspaper. I want the info on mutiple counties and states. Thank you in advance.

I have found what seems to be a good short sale candidate, but I have no clue how to perform a short sale. I too am interested in crosswind's strategy.

I would also like more info on how to wholesale or assign shortsales if anyone care to pm me.

I'm going after pre-forclosures. Should I be tapping into a different market?

Well they kinda just turned me loose on my own on one of the computers in records dept. and i eally had no clue what i was doing. :(

Ok, the good news is that I FINALLY got off my lazy, excuse making rear end and went to the courthouse today. The bad news is that since the clerk was not a woman, I was unable to use my God given charm and the guy said he had no clue what i was talking about. Is it not a Notice of default list I'm looking for?

Thank you for your reply, Dan. I have been a mortgage broker for a year and a half, i was told i came into the business at a bad time. My company does FHA loans so there has at least been a small percentage of business, but not very much at all.

I never thought about trying to turn dead mortgage leads into investments leads, but i think it's a pretty good idea! Do you have any suggestions, Sir?
